 華盛頓州最閃亮的巨星Quilceda Creek 2010

Quilceda Creek酒莊成立於1979年，被Robert Parker讚譽為是華盛頓州最精於釀造Cabertnet Sauvignon的酒莊。在父親Alex Golitzin時期，原本就有著不錯的成績，現任釀酒師是由兒子Paul Golitzin於1998年接收管理。酒莊擁有五塊單一葡萄園，酒款產量皆少；旗艦款則為混調，來自種植於70年代末期的葡萄樹齡，99% Cab. Sauvignon及1% Merlot，使用全新法國橡木桶醇化22個月之久。

Wine Spectator: Polished, vibrant and distinctive, with coffee and jasmine tea accents around a supple core of cherry and red plum fruit. The nubby tannins rub gently against the long finish. Shows tremendous depth while holding its power in check. Rating:95

Robert Parker:Offering up plenty of crème de cassis, coffee bean, toasted spice, pencil shavings and violet-like qualities on the nose, it has palate staining levels of extract and tannin that come through on the mid-palate and finish. Gorgeously full-bodied, layered and textured, with perfect balance. Rating:98+

另推薦酒莊內非常物超所值Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Red Wine，混調葡萄品種比例為: 81% CabernetSauvignon，16%Merlot，2% Cabernet Franc，1%Malbec，一樣是使用全新法國橡木桶醇化22個月之久。專為等候旗艦款熟成的酒友們所釀製的佳釀，年產量不到一萬瓶，也獲得Parker 92分評價。

Robert Parker:Up-front, perfumed and intense, it offers up spice-laced red and black fruits, toast, cedar, vanilla and hints of chocolate to go with a full-bodied, mouth-filling and voluptuously textured palate. Lacking the polish and elegance that can be found in this estate’s upper tier efforts, it nevertheless has superb fruit, ripe tannin and serious length.
