由 Reims 的地方行政長官 Francois Delamotte 於 1760 年創立 ，釀造並出售自己的品牌香檳 (Delamotte Pere et Fils) 。 1786 年傳承給兒子 Nicolas- Louis 與 Alexandre 經營數十年，當 Alexandre 往生後，因 Nicolas- Louis 後繼無人，便找了一個精通釀造香檳的合作夥伴 Jean- Baptiste Lanson 。 期間內越來越多 Lanson 家族參與酒莊的經營， 1856 年 Nicolas- Louis 的遺孀 Delamotte-Barrachin 女士去世， Lanson 家族正式由掌管酒莊改為（ Lanson Pere et Fils ）。 Lanson 家族產業經營一個世紀之後，經過多次被集團收購轉讓，依舊呈現出 18 世紀時優雅 Lanson 水準風格（ 1980 年被 Gardinier Group 集團收購 ， 1983 年被 BSN 集團收購， 1990 年被 LVHM 集團收購 ，於 2006 年加入 BBC 集團旗下至今）。

       Lanson 的葡萄選用種植在超過 800 頃的白堊土上，從特級葡萄園中仔細地挑選品質最佳的葡萄釀造。 堅持守護過去的傳統，不經乳酸發酵 Malolactic fermentation( 將高酸度的蘋果酸轉換成酸味香醇的乳酸現像 ) ，以便保留香檳原始清新芳香的特色。嚴格遵循在完全成熟後才會自酒窖取出，無年份香檳陳年至少三年，有年份的香檳至少五年，而頂級香檳至少等待 6-8 年以上方可上市。 賦予了 Lanson 香檳無與倫比的濃郁水果口味，新鮮怡人的獨一無二風格 。

Most Champagnes from the 2000 vintage are now mature, and this wine is no exception. It is soft, rounded with crisp fruits that have integrated with the crumbled-cookie tastes and fragrant acidity. This floral wine has just the edge of mineral texture and is ready to drink. – Roger Voss

Lanson Brut Blanc de Blancs Noble Cuvee 2000  (六入紙箱)

Produced from Grand Cru vineyards on the Côte des Blancs, this wine, now mature, is ripe and rich. While the initial fruit has diminished, it has not forgotten its tight, mineral texture and crisp acidity. The toast flavors, now dominant, are given a final lift by hints of honeyed almonds and steely acidity. – Roger Voss
