2013 Domaine Hudelot-Noellat

Domaine Hudelot-Noellat 創立於1960年，Alain Hudelot-Noellat 娶了Charles Noellat 的孫女為妻，並帶來數塊相當不錯Vosne Romanee的葡萄園，1977年後陸續又增加特級園:Clos Vougeot(0.69公頃)、Richebourg(0.28公頃)和Romanee Saint Vivant(0.48公頃)。現由第三代外孫Charles van Canneyts 負責接手管理酒莊，而年輕俊秀的Charles van Canneyts總是能不負所望，每個年份都呈現出精彩的表現，讓酒迷們完全不想錯過任何年份的佳釀!

酒莊延續外祖父時期，不過分萃取而影響葡萄酒本質風味，且特別謹慎橡木桶比例的使用，他的酒常有新鮮明亮的果味，均衡剔透的口感與絲滑的丹寧質地。其葡萄藤均刻意保留高齡，在釀造上全部去梗,且釀酒方式盡量採自然進行，不過濾澄清，特別強調橡木桶的部分，新桶使用盡量控制：村莊級約15~20%，而特級園也僅約50~65%。使得Hudelot-Noellat的風格以纖膩細緻，醇香芬芳，勁道及風土條件的表現見著!!!

1. Romanee Saint Vivant    92~95 Stephen Tanzer    限量

Tasting note: The nose was completely reduced though in this case the underlying fruit did seem ripe. The sleek and ultra-refined

mouth feel adds substantially to the sense of elegance and class as the tannins are super fine if sufficiently dense to suggest that

this will also need at least 12 to 15 years of cellaring to be at its best. I very much like the balance and in particular the explosive

finish. In short this is textbook RSV.

2. Richebourg              93~96Stephen Tanzer    限量

Note: from a .28 ha parcel of vines that abut those of the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti in Richebourg proper; 5 barrels were

produced in 2013 BH:Don't miss!

Tasting note: There are no issues with reduction here as the overtly spicy nose features cool and ultra-pure notes of essence of

red currant, violets and a touch of plum, all of which is trimmed is subtle hints of sandalwood. The intense, muscular and

large-scaled flavors exude a fine bead of minerality and while there is ample power and punch this is a Richebourg of relative

refinement. Note that though this is quite firmly structured it is the epitome of what I like to describe as power without weight.

3. Clos de Vougeot                 91~93 Stephen Tanzer           限量 

Note: from two separate parcels, one to the left of the Château and another situated to the right by the Méo-Camuzet vines

Tasting note: This is also heavily reduced though not lactic. This combines excellent richness with very fine detail that adds to the

appeal of the medium weight plus flavors that deliver outstanding length on the moderately austere and beautifully

well-balanced finish. While not imposingly structured this will still need all of 12 to 15 years of bottle age to realize its full

potential.

4. Vosne Romanee 1er Cru Les Suchots ♥ 92~94 Neal Martin  

Tasting note: Here the nose is slightly riper than that of the Beaux Monts but otherwise largely similar. There is a bit more

volume if less minerality to the generously proportioned medium-bodied flavors that possess plenty of structure-buffering dry

extract, all wrapped in a highly persistent and better balanced finale. Textbook Suchots that should amply reward 7 to 10 years

of cellar time. BH: Outstanding

5. Nuits Saint Georges 1er Cru Les Meurgers ♥ 91~93 Neal Martin   

Tasting note: Reduction is sufficiently strong so as to render the nose impossible to evaluate. There is excellent size, weight and

density to the medium-bodied flavors that possess a really lovely mouth feel thanks to the abundant dry extract as well as the

quality of the tannins which are finer than usual. Even so the Nuits roots are in evidence as the lingering finish does display a

touch of rusticity as well as an interesting hint of blood orange. This is well worth considering provided that you have at least a

modicum of patience. BH: Outstanding

6. Vougeot 1er Cru Les Petits Vougeots     89~91 Neal Martin    

Tasting note: An airy and elegant nose features aromas of black cherry, pomegranate and pretty violet hints. There is a very sleek

and refined mouth feel to the lightly mineral-inflected medium weight flavors that possess good balance on the dusty if

ever-so-slightly rustic finish. My sense is that the rusticity will eventually dissipate as this wine is normally quite fine.

7. Chambolle Musigny                  88~90 Neal Martin          

Note: from 11 different parcels; 25% new oak

Tasting note: Here the nose of black pinot fruit and floral aromas is more elegant though only slightly more complex. There is

good punch and delineation to the more refined medium-bodied flavors that terminate in a dusty and sappy finish. The sense of

refinement is enhanced by the fine-grained tannins and this should be enjoyable young if desired.

8. Vosne Romanee                      89~91 Neal Martin            

Note: this has some young vines 1ers added to a blend of Basses Maizières and Les Vigneux

Tasting note: There is enough reduction to flatten the nose but the underlying fruit does appear to be ripe. In the same fashion

as the Chambolle villages this possesses a refined mouth feel along with plenty of punch on the medium-bodied flavors that

deliver notably better depth and length on the delicious and well-balanced finale. A quality Vosne villages.

AFN21NSGHN13 Nuits Saint Georges s Les Bas de Combes 90~92 Neal Martin $1,500 89-91 2021+

Tasting note: A touch of the sauvage adds breadth to the deeply pitched nose that is formed by distinctly earthy dark berry fruit

and humus scents. There is solid mid-palate concentration to the delicious, vibrant and palate coating middle weight flavors that

also possess very fine depth and length for a villages level wine.
