   位於Morey St Denis的the Marchands與位於Gevrey Chambertin的the Grillots兩個家族聯姻，因此，1950年在Gevrey Chambertin 成立Marchand Grillot酒莊。目前由莊主Jacques Marchand負責經營，其子Etienne從旁協助。 Etienne畢業於Macon Davayé的Lycéeviticole，曾任美國的Oregon葡萄酒產區工作，運用教學理論與實務經驗用現代化的釀酒理念與技術為酒莊注入了新的生命活力。

   酒莊佔地9公頃葡萄園，由47個不同的地塊組成，分佈在5個Cote de Nuits村莊：Gevrey Chambertin、Morey St Denis、Chambolle Musigny、Brochon和Gilly les Citeaux，其中不乏風土十分出色的一級園和特級園。曾獲得Falstaff葡萄酒雜誌給予94分高評價的Ruchottes Chambertin為例，位於在Chambertin村和緩平坦的山坡上，毗鄰著名的Chambertin Clos de Beze，因園內通風良好、光照充足，釀造出的酒款風格細膩優雅，精緻動人，層次分明，口感圓潤。

   園內的葡萄多數由人力採收完成的，依不同階段葡萄生長不同階段，對每一株葡萄進行綠色採收，確保證最低產量，獲取品質優良的果實。 此外，葡萄園會定期對土地進行深耕，持續發展實踐的理念，20年都沒有在使用對環境有害的化學劑。酒莊釀酒時會依照當局不同產區的法規要求，釀造出呈現不同產區自然風土Terroir的獨特性，葡萄果實經過採摘和篩選後，不經去梗程序，直接進入傳統淺底大木桶中發酵。發酵期間保留完整的葡萄串，經過6天的低溫8℃浸皮開始發酵，發酵溫度控制在30℃，發酵過程約20天。期間酒莊會根據年份的不同，進行適當的淋皮等步驟。目前與三家不同的木桶公司合作：Tonnellerie Rousseau在Gevrey Chambertin，Tonnellerie Hermitage在Charitésur Loire，Tonnellerie Billon在Beaune。特級園在全新小橡木桶中熟化18個月，而一級園或村莊級則在1-3年的老橡木桶中熟化18個月。
