Champange Jacquesson 創立於1798 年,位在馬恩河谷Dizy 村,KRUG 創立人Johann-Joseph Krug
年輕時就是在Jacquesson 任職調酒師,才自立門戶的。KRUG 喜歡用不同地塊,小而精緻的葡萄園來
架構豐富龐大的酒體,理念就是來自於Jacquesson 酒莊。Jacquesson 是一間讓消費者知道有別於一
般香檳廠普遍認為無年分香檳(NV)該維持品牌一貫風格的看法,主張即便是無年分香檳也該展現出不同
年份的各異特色。因此自2OOO 年起,每一批生產的NV 都有一個數字編號,酒標並提供詳細資料,
讓消費者清楚知道此款香檳所使用的葡萄成分比例和基底年分。
現任莊主Chiquet 兄弟(哥哥Laurent 負責酒窖管理、弟弟Herve 負責銷售)堅持每款香檳都獨具個性。
這也是Chiquet 兄弟的目標。也因此每款Cuvee 的形成源自於葡萄的低產量、不凡的釀造工藝、木桶
發酵、帶酒渣陳年、添加極少量的糖分。Jacquesson 的風格濃郁、结構完美端正,它的果香纯粹,氣
泡細膩,在滑潤和微酸間達到完美的平衡,並帶有明顯的礦物質味道。根據產地的不同,風格也隨之變
化。所出產的香檳是以手工的方式釀造出來的,它帶著釀制者獨特個性的烙印。
Jacaquesson 的無年份香檳,每個號碼都代表他的唯一性,也因此成為好奇的香檳迷難以抗拒的收藏對象。

Tasting Note:2000 bottles plus 800 magnums of the Cuvée No 733 Extra Brut were disgorged in September 2013. This is a very special Champagne which does not serve any standards, most of all not on the complex nose whose layers I discovered over 20 minutes or more. The vinous Cuvée 733 DT comes mainly from the 2005 harvest (plus 22% of reserve wines from 2004 and 2001). It is an impressive blend of Grands and Premiers crus (52% Chardonnay, 24% Pinot Noir and 24% Meunier) aged in old foudres and attracts at least natural wine freaks. It opens quite interesting on the nose with jurassic aromas of oxidized apples, lime blossom honey, malt, dried porcini, celeries, hazelnuts, coffee, chestnuts, yellow paprika and herbs. Though it is not very precise on the nose
the palate is quite unique (and oxidized), vinous, pure, very firm and very persistent and bone dry but neither fruity nor very fine while very clear, long and complex. This wine does not meet what most people require from a vintage Champagne but it surprises all those who think they know the Champagnes of Jacquesson. At least this is a debatable Champagne of very high quality although I have no idea how long this bone-dry and already somewhat drying style can age.

Tasting Note: A skein of ground spice unravels through this mouthwatering Champagne, while a firm frame of acidity and a tight, refined bead supports flavors of crunchy pear, ripe white raspberry, pastry dough, smoked almond and lemon confit. Disgorged July 2013. Drink now through 2020. 20,000 cases made. –AN

Tasting Note: Exotic spice notes of cardamom, star anise and clove accent flavors of patisserie apple, ripe peach, graphite and nut in this firm Champagne. There's a light grain to the texture, and this is mouthwatering from beginning to end, with a long finish. Best from 2012 through 2022. 2,940 cases made. –AN
